a good Mike Adams column

Every college student should read this, particularly Christians and those who feel their rights of free speech and association are being abrogated by their
places of education, regardless of level. The 1st amendment applies equally to everyone and it does not prevent personal offense. PC is not mandatory.

US Military: Obama's Military Private Insurance Proposal

The following has been checked out through www.snopes.com and also www.ask.com, the story appeared in the Washington Times.  Chew on this for a while.

THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE MOST OUTRAGEOUS STATEMENT EVER MADE BY A PUBLIC OFFICIAL LET ALONE BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. AND THIS GUY IS OUR "COMMANDER IN CHIEF".  HE IS A DISGRACE.

UNBELIEVABLE PRESIDENT???
HERE IS HIS RESPONSE WHEN HE BACKED OFF FROM HIS DECISION TO REQUIRE THE MILITARY PAY FOR THEIR WAR INJURIES.

WHAT AN EMPTY HEADED PERSON HE MUST BE....

Bad press, including major mockery of the plan by comedian Jon Stewart, led to President Obama abandoning his proposal to require veterans carry private health insurance to cover the estimated $540 million annual cost to the federal government of treatment for injuries
to military personnel received during their tours on active duty. The President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the opposition to his proposal.

"Look, it's an all volunteer force," Obama complained. "Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? It doesn't compute.." "I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country, "Obama continued. "I wasn't asking for blood, just money.  With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd have thought that the  patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation's deficit. I guess I  underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans."

Please pass this on to every one including every vet and their
families whom you know. How in the world did a person with this mindset become our leader? I didn't vote for him!!!

REMEMBER THIS STATEMENT.."Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice?"

If he thinks he will ever get another vote from an Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard service member or veteran of a military service he ought to think it over.. If you or a family member is or has served their country please pass this to them.

Please pass this to everyone. I'm guessing that other than the 20-25 percent hardcore liberals in the US will agree that this is just another example why this is the worst president in American history. Remind everyone over and over how this man thinks, while he bows to the Saudi Arabian king.

Day the Dollar Died

The following story in italics is a potential fictional time line for the day the dollar died. I hope not to instill fear or loathing but to give everyone some perspective on a POSSIBLE outcome which does not really take much of a reach to come to any conclusion. Despite popular belief and promises from those who wish to rob you of your savings and investments, the collapse of the dollar might just be an event measured in hours, not days as their control is not what it seems. . . . The Manhattan Declaration

by Harry R. Jackson, Jr.: Last Friday I was privileged to stand with Chuck Colson, Jim Daly, Robert George, Archbishop Wuerl, Tony Perkins, Alan Sears, Cardinal Rigali, and over 20 others to represent the first 150 signers of a document called The Manhattan Declaration.

Why the name? The group met a few weeks ago in Manhattan where we read a draft of the document. It was there we concluded that we had to bridge the huge historic chasms separating the major branches of the Christian faith. The famed Chuck Colson along with co-initiators issued a call to all Christians that we must remain true to our core convictions, based upon the scriptures. The group also came together to let the secular community know that increasingly Christians from Catholic, Evangelical, and Orthodox traditions will work together and speak with one voice.

A critical line of the declaration states, "We pledge to each other, and to our fellow believers, that no power on earth, be it cultural or political, will intimidate us into silence or acquiescence." In our estimation this means that civil disobedience may well be a part of the stony path we must tread. The document lays out the group's views on the value of human life, the concept and role of the family, and religious liberties.

Christianity is not merely a set of doctrines or beliefs; it lives out the ideals set forth in the Bible. This compels us as Christians to commit now, more than ever, to reaffirm the biblical truths that support the common good in our land. We must stand against any pressure that is brought to bear against our Christian ideals in these areas: the definition of marriage, the sanctity of life, and religious liberty. I have sought to paraphrase the documents' major summary statements below, along with an exhortation for Christians everywhere to join us as signers.

The Definition of Marriage - The institution of marriage has historically been the most important means of sustaining society's health, education, and human welfare. Marriage has the terrible risk of being redefined, which will subvert it from its original intent as a covenant between one man and one woman. Traditional marriage has been plagued with infidelity and divorce. The idea to redefine marriage has sprung from the vulnerable state of the institution that exists today. Redefinition is not a cure for these ills; it is a symptom. Studies by noted sociologists show conclusively that when marriage erodes, social pathologies rise. Redefining marriage would enable that erosion to increase by defining marriage through romance and physical satisfaction rather than through covenant relationship. It would produce a loss of understanding of what a healthy marriage is in both in our civil laws and religious traditions. We believe that marriage is an objective reality that should be protected by law.

The Sanctity of Life - The weak and vulnerable among our society are also increasingly being threatened. The government should protect those who are unborn, who are disabled, and who are elderly. Yet the government has been enlisted to promote what Pope John Paul II declared as a "culture of death." The declaration asserts that Christians must pledge to wage an unceasing war against any laws that expand acts of abortion, destructive embryonic research, euthanasia, and assisted suicide. Human beings have the right to equal protection at every stage of life, from pre-birth development through old age. We must resist any acts of government that would perpetrate the destruction or disadvantage of any human life.

Religious Liberty and Expression of Conscience - Our team believes that fundamental principles of justice are being threatened through a bias against religious liberty and the expression of conscience. Recent attempts to eliminate the protection of conscience for healthcare professionals and institutions have demonstrated this frontal attack. Religious institutions and charities have been assaulted through anti-discrimination statutes that challenge their beliefs to oppose those things they deem are immoral.

Businesses and service providers are threatened with losing their licenses if they do not choose to accept or facilitate activities they believe do not meet their moral standards. The government and society should be protective of these institutions as they are dependent upon religious institutions and charities to maintain the overall good of society.

Christians believe that we are to render to Caesar what is Caesar's. We are taught to respect the authority of earthly rulers. Our democratic society sprang from the moral laws of Old Testament tradition and we acknowledge the moral claims of the law. It our right as citizens to participate in the political process; this includes doing our part to change unjust or immoral laws. Civil disobedience may be required to stand against laws that do not promote justice.

We must not render unto to Caesar those things that are God's. We cannot comply with any statute that forces us, or the institutions that we are part of, to bless sexual partnerships that are biblically immoral or to facilitate abortions, destructive embryonic research, euthanasia, or assisted suicide. We will not violate our consciences through intimidation or any other act of cultural or political power. We will express our religious freedom, regardless of the consequences to ourselves.

Finally, I invite you to go http://manhattandeclaration.org/index.php and sign this important declaration. We are convinced that we can best serve the nation by lifting our collective voice. In signing the declaration you will be celebrating three things:
1. The unity in diversity of the body of Christ
2. The prophetic calling of the body of Christ
3. The urgent need we have to engage the culture in dialogue.

America needs a conscience, an objective voice, which advocates for truth, reason, and biblical justice. Historically, we Christians have been that voice. We have served the nation in shaping its foundational settlements, it's original documents, the nation's great spiritual awakenings, the abolition of slavery, and effective civil rights laws. Without the voice of the Church, the nation would not have had its original hospitals and many caring social services institutions of our day. Let's regain the integrity of our mission.

Dare to Declare!

"The Secret of Oz" trailer - How to Fix the 2010 Depression

The only fix for the economy is to eliminate the national debt -- NO MORE NATIONAL DEBT. But how can we do that? The national debt is increasing at an alarming rate. That's the secret embedded in the book version of the beloved children's story, "The Wizard of Oz".  "The Secret of Oz" has won the Silver Sierra Award at the Yosemite Film Festival and the Award of Merit at the Accolade Competition. It premiered it the Louisville International Film Festival on Oct. 2 and has won at 3 other film fests.

Senate Ethics Committee Admonishes Burris - It's Meaningless - Burris Should Resign

The Washington Post: "Sen. Roland W. Burris (D-IL) has been admonished by the Senate ethics committee for his public comments about his appointment last December to the body. In a three-page "public letter of qualified admonition" issued Friday, the committee formally reprimanded Burris for statements -- some made under oath to an Illinois legislative committee -- in which he denied trying to raise any campaign contributions for indicted former governor Rod Blagojevich for his political committees. . . . A letter of admonition is the mildest form of rebuke that the ethics committee can administer. "

Ozark Guru: Imagine calling in a gangster and saying we admonish you - go and sin no more. He would laugh himself to death. The Senate Ethics Committee admonishment is all fluff and meaningless and the end result is that Roland Burris remains a U.S. Senator. He benefits from lying under oath, collects his salary, remains part of the black caucus, votes with the Democrats to place American further into debt, gets to admonish fellow Senators and others who have more integrity from the floor of the Senate, and remains a breathing living example of what corruption and deceit can get you. At least, Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) has someone he can smugly to look down on.

Here we have just another example of Chicago politics roaming the halls of the White House and the halls of Congress. Is Burris, the US Senate, Washington D.C., and Illinois without honor? Makes one wish for the Japanese culture where the dishonored end their own disgrace. Burris was not elected. No, under oath, he lied his way into office and was accepted because of an apparent rush to appoint a Senator to support the Democrat agenda. And for some contorted reason, this appointment had to be a democrat black man to replace a former democrat black man who was just sworn in as President.  Talk about racial profiling - what an insult to men and women of any ethnic or political background in Illinois!  Metaphorically, both Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King must have rolled over in their graves.

Former Gov. Rod Blagojevich must be chuckling at the joke he has played on Illinois and America in response to his being rejected by Barack Obama and his "advisers." Blago thought he was "loved" by them. Since Blago was not acceptable to join them (he should get down on his knees and thank God for this), he appointed Roland Burris who was worthy of them as now evidenced by the incompetence, lying and deceit which we have seen in the Obama administration and the Democrat controlled Congress. Being dishonorable seems to be a qualification these days in the Obama administration and the Senate ethics commission just rubber stamped their approval. Burris should resign! But then again, we haven't seen hell freeze over yet.

Trigger-Happy Muslims and Deluded Infidels in the Happy Land of Make-Believe

Trigger-Happy Muslims and Deluded Infidels in the Happy Land of Make-Believe
GrassTopsUSA Exclusive Commentary
By Don Feder
11-19-09

Let me tell you about the Happy Land of Make-Believe. It's a magical place where ideology trumps reality, evidence is irrelevant, and illusion reigns supreme.

Liberals are permanent residents of the Happy Land of Make-Believe. Some conservatives are not immune to its allure.

The Happy Land of Make-Believe is populated by journalists, academics, Democrats (and some Republicans), feminists, gay activists, pacifists, isolationists, socialists and other refugees from the real world. A resident of the Happy Land of Make-Believe may be identified by his blind faith in the following propositions:

 • That after marching 20 miles with a full pack, a 90-lb woman is every bit as effective in combat as a 190-lb. man

 • That we can provide health insurance for millions who are currently uninsured and it will neither increase insurance costs, result in rationing or necessitate a general tax increase

 • That we can solve the problem of illegal immigration by bestowing amnesties on an estimated 12 million to 15 million of them, which – it goes without saying – won't send millions more heading for our borders.

 • That a man who's had himself mutilated and takes regular doses of female hormones is now a woman, his chromosomal makeup not withstanding

 • That criminals, psychopaths and jihadists obey gun laws

 • That a Palestinian state won't look like Dodge City on a Saturday night – with everyone on crack cocaine

 • That we can keep brutal regimes from acquiring nuclear weapons by confessing our sins and sending diplomats to sit around a conference table with them.

The Happy Land of Make-Believe is built on one part wishful thinking, one part political correctness and one-part fear. In Make-Believe Land, acknowledging reality is insensitive and a crime against diversity. Unpleasant truths are ignored and cherished dogmas go unchallenged. Conceding the existence of evil admits that the world is a dangerous place and monsters must be confronted or the innocent will suffer.

Nowhere is the Happy Land of Make-Believe more manifest than in the matter of Islam, Moslems and terrorism. Hence, the reaction to the Fort Hood murders.

This we know of Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the man charged with 13 counts of murder:

While he was shooting fellow soldiers, Hassan shouted "Allahu Akhbar!" (Allah is the greatest). Interesting, it's always cries of Allah-this or Allah-that which accompany acts of terrorism, never "Jesus saves!" or "Mazel Tov!"

Despite having been born in the United States, Hasan listed his nationality as Palestinian.

He was an avid proselytizer for Islam. At Walter Reed Hospital, where Dr. Hasan was a psychiatric intern and a psychiatrist for six years, he was reprimanded for trying to win converts to the religion of peace. Since, by definition, his patients all had mental problems, it's surprising he wasn't more successful. He also handed out Korans prior to the killing spree, thereby exemplifying cause and effect.

While at Walter Reed, Hassan attended the radical Dar al-Hijrah mosque, in Falls Church, VA, at the same time as two of the 9/11 terrorists. Hasan became quite attached to the mosque's jihad-preaching imam, Anwar al-Awlaki, and stayed in touch with him via the Internet when al-Awlaki relocated to Yemen.

Over the course of years, Hasan told his fellow officers that he believed the U.S. Army is at war with Muslims, that suicide bombers are like soldiers who throw themselves on live grenades to save their buddies, and that "Muslims have a right to rise up against the U.S. military." He also spoke approvingly of individuals who would "strap bombs on themselves and go into Times Square."

Had an evangelical Christian serving in the military expressed the same sentiments (say by declaring that killing abortionists is justifiable homicide or that the U.S. government is at war with Christians) he would have been cashiered in no time flat. Other than mild reprimands, no disciplinary action was taken against Hasan. As another staff member at Walter Reed explained, "You don't want to close him down just because" his views are "different." Now, shut your eyes tightly and repeat after me: "Militant Islam is just different" and "you don't want to close down jihadist ravings."

In 2007, Hasan did a show-and-tell for other personnel at the hospital, in the form of a slide presentation on "The Koranic World View As it Relates to Muslims in the Military." Slide #11 observed, "It's getting harder and harder to morally justify being in a military that seems constantly engaged against fellow Muslims."

None of this alerted his colleagues, the brass or the FBI to Hasan's potential to go Islamic. Their answer was to order him to take comparative religion courses, which was supposed to encourage him to love Christians and Jews.

All that was missing was the good doctor wearing a name tag that said: "Hi, I'm Major Nidal Hasan. Where the infidels at?"

The commander in chief, the media and the generals are in deep denial about Hasan's motivation.

"It is unclear what might have motivated Major Hasan," The New York Times declared in its initial report.   ("Allahu Akhbar" wasn't a dead giveaway?) A follow-up story was headlined "Told of War Horror, Gunman Feared Deployment" – a sort of pre-post-traumatic stress syndrome. Yes, Dr. Hasan would have been in the thick of things. A lot of shrinks come back from Afghanistan missing a clipboard or a prescription pad.

Associated Press, The Washington Post and National Public Radio initially hadn't a clue as to why a swell guy like Hasan would open fire on fellow soldiers. (Hint: It was Major Hasan, in the Soldier Readiness Center, with a Koran and a 5.7-millimeter handgun, shouting "Allah is Groovy!")

Interviewed on "Meet the Press," on November 8, Army Chief of Staff General William Casey (who missed his calling as a sensitivity trainer) pleaded: "Our diversity, not only in our Army, but in our country, is a strength. And as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that's worse."

Here is the ideal warrior for the Age of Obama. Casey should demonstrate his commitment to diversity by offering to lead a squad of randomly picked Muslim GIs on a mission in Afghanistan – all of whom are behind him with loaded weapons.

Barack Obama is the mayor of the Happy Land of Make-Believe. Speaking at a memorial service at Fort Hood on November 10th, President My-Job-is-to-Fight-Negative-Stereotypes-of-Islam told mourners that the "twisted logic that led to the tragedy" was "too hard to comprehend."

Now, if Major Hasan had been a follower of Mother Theresa or Mahatma Gandhi, whose teachings he interpreted as a license to kill, that would be twisted logic.

As a Moslem who takes his faith seriously, what Major Hasan did is perfectly comprehensible. The U.S. Army is killing Moslems. Members of the religion of peace have a sacred duty to protect their co-religionists. America is evil. Suicide bombing is justified. Oh yes, and, as Hasan explained to his colleagues during his slide presentation, "We (Muslims) love death more than you (infidels) love life."

In the Happy Land of Make Believe, Islam is a warm and cuddly creed, worthy of respect bordering on reverence --1,500 years of evidence notwithstanding. Moslem militants don't understand their own religion. Jihad really means a spiritual struggle, not the slaughter of unbelievers. The scholars and religious authorities of Cairo's Al Azhar, the citadel of Sunni orthodoxy, are pulling our legs when they proclaim, "Jihad means to war against non-Muslims" to establish the supremacy of Islam.

Thus, every act of terrorism becomes a misunderstanding or a symptom of mental illness. Would that Moslems only understood their religion as well as Obama, Casey, Condolezza Rice (who once dubbed Islam "the religion of love and peace"), George W. Bush, and The New York Times.

In all likelihood, our president also finds the following just too hard to comprehend:

 • The 2005 Kuwait grenade attack by U.S. Army Sgt. Hasan Akbar, killing two officers and wounding 14 others. The delusional Hasan, who clearly was ignorant of the wonderful teachings of the Koran, told investigators that he launched the attack to keep servicemen from killing his fellow Muslims in Iraq, where they were about to be deployed. Sound familiar?

 • The plot by five Moslems to attack Fort Dix in 2007, and kill as many soldiers as they could

 • That, according to FBI counter-terrorism officials, jihad is preached at one in ten of the 2,000 mosques in the United States. (And that's what they know about.) We need a federal program to teach Islam to imams.

 • The June shooting spree at an Arkansas recruiting station by misinformed Moslem Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, that left one serviceman dead. Did Muhammad fear deployment to Afghanistan?

 • Four Moslems arrested in Newburgh, N.Y., in May, charged with plotting to blow up synagogues and a Jewish community center in the Big Apple. When they were arraigned in federal court, Assistant U.S. Attorney Eric Snyder said the defendants were "eager to bring death to Jews and the Jewish community."

 • D.C. sniper John Muhammad, who was executed last week for 10 random homicides in 2002. Why is it those who kill for their religion are never named Jimmy Jesus or Milt Moses?

 • Muzzamil Hassan, founder of Bridges TV – whose mission was to showcase the many examples of "Muslim tolerance, progress, diversity, service and excellence" – arrested on February 12 and charged with cutting off his wife's head after she threatened to divorce him. Perhaps it was a peaceful decapitation.

        • Khalid Kelly (I kid you not), an Irishman living in Pakistan, who told the London Times that he wanted to wage jihad (not the spiritual-struggle kind) against U.S. and British troops. "I'm already on the path to jihad. I've already picked up a gun and done target practice to make myself familiar with weapons," Paddy O'Dynamite Belt declared in a November 15 interview. "Next week, inshallah (Allah willing), I could be in Afghanistan fighting a British soldier." Kelly also told The Times he hopes his son Osama, age 3, will become a martyr "before marriageable age."

 • All of the hijackings, suicide bombings, beheadings of captives and honor killings committed in the name of the peaceable faith, including the 9/11 attacks and the estimated 24,879 Indians murdered by Islamic terrorists during 1994-2005.

In the happy Land of Make-Believe, when 13 American heroes are murdered in cold blood, we may pause to shed a tear, then obsess about how this might threaten diversity, our new national credo.

We should be thankful that the Happy Land of Make-Believe was as yet uncharted territory in 1941. Imagine Gen. Douglas McArthur worrying about how Pearl Harbor might negatively impact on the German-American Bund, and President Roosevelt telling Americans that Nazism and Bushido were all about tolerance, brotherhood and love.

The Senate health care bill: no improvement

Congress has outdone itself. On Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid unveiled a health care bill weighing in at 2,074 pages, a new record. A vote on the bill is expected Saturday.

Heritage Foundation experts are still working through the specifics of the massive, $849 billion health care bill, as it is estimated to take up to 34 hours to read the entire thing. But they already know that "the major outlines of the bill are no different than the policy train wreck the House passed earlier this month," reports Heritage's Conn Carroll.
Both the House and Senate health care "reform" bills include:
  1. A government "option." Both the House and Senate proposals would create a one-size-fits-all public plan to "compete" with private insurers. But the government will retain its role as regulator and thus stifle any competition and causing millions to lose their private coverage.
  2. More people in failed programs. Both bills would place millions of Americans under the failing government-run Medicaid program, reducing subsidized benefits from those who truly need them and increasing the financial burden on the states.
  3. Employer mandates. All employers of 50 people or more will be required to provide coverage that meets new federal standards or else face a hefty penalty. This mandate will disproportionately impact low-income workers.
  4. Individual mandates. For the first time in history, all Americans will be forced to purchase federally approved coverage minimums. Those who fail to comply are subject to new tax penalties and, in some cases, jail time.
The bill's supporters may be congratulating each other for producing a health care bill that meets the President's $900 billion cap. But its $849 price tag is a preliminary estimate only, and it really only has one place to go -- up. "As history has proven, government health care programs end up costing much more than first promised," writes Carroll.
Both the House and Senate health care reform bills require individuals to purchase federally-approved health insurance, and those who fail to do so could face criminal prosecution. "Using [criminal law] to enforce one particular notion of appropriate insurance coverage is nothing less than a tyrannical assertion of raw government power over the private lives and economic rights of individual Americans," write Heritage legal scholars Brian Walsh and Hans von Spakovsky. This abuse of governmental power does not bode well for freedom, as it specifically targets those who choose to make their own decisions regarding their health insurance.

Protecting America's interests in Copenhagen

In December, members of the United Nations Framework Convention will meet in Copenhagen to discuss climate change and draft a new global warming treaty. "This is the most important international conference on global warming since the 1997 Kyoto conference that produced Kyoto Protocol," writes Heritage expert Ben Lieberman.
The Kyoto Protocol is an international environmental treaty which the United States never ratified because of the overwhelming financial and regulatory burdens it would impose on the country. Set to expire in 2012, however, the Kyoto Protocol is now the prototype for a new, even more stringent global warming treaty that would pose an even greater threat to American prosperity than its predecessor.
Lieberman explains how a new global warming treaty would hurt America:
  • Inflicting economic harm. The contemplated global warming treaty -- like the highly controversial cap-and-trade legislation under consideration in Congress -- would act as a large energy tax that would drive up energy costs for individuals and consumers. This would result in massive job losses.
  • Achieving little environmental gain. Leaving aside all scientific questions about global warming, the treaty's targeted emissions reductions will have a nominal, if any, impact on the earth's temperature. This is especially true if developing nations, whose emissions are growing fastest, remain exempt, as they are under Kyoto.
  • Undermining U.S. sovereignty. Unlike the Kyoto Protocol, a new global warming treaty would impose binding international enforcement mechanisms. An international authority will be established to ensure that all signatories are in compliance with the international provisions, as well as to determine penalties for non-complying entities.
Countless studies from both sides of the political aisle reveal the devastating effects of global warming controls. This is why cap-and-trade legislation has been stalled in the U.S. Senate.
President Obama has repeatedly promised to reduce America's greenhouse gas emissions and he is under immense pressure from radical environmentalist groups to keep this pledge. But surrendering American prosperity and sovereignty is no bargain.
"The American people need to know that, in addition to harming the U.S. economically and environmentally, a new global warming treaty would threaten U.S. sovereignty," explains Lieberman.  The United States' decision not to ratify the Kyoto Protocol was a prudent one that served America's best interests. In Copenhagen this December, American negotiators should again keep our best interests in mind.

> Other Heritage work of note

  • "It is a tragic mistake to now bring the detained war combatants into the United States and to employ civilian criminal procedures which were never intended for this type of situation," former Attorney General and Heritage scholar Edwin Meese said this week. Last Friday, Attorney General Eric Holder announced that 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and five other terrorists would be tried in a civilian court in New York City rather than before a military tribunal. This decision blurs the distinction between crimes and acts of war, which are handled in military tribunals, not civilian court.

» Read Meese's full statement online
  • To prevent a "rerun of the Great Crash of 2008" and stave off the need for bailouts, Heritage Vice President Stuart Butler suggests reforming bankruptcy policy. "Without a realistic bankruptcy option, Fed Chairman Ben S. Bernanke and then-Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson Jr. had to make it up on the fly, often stopping up the breaking dam with taxpayers' money." To prevent further bailouts, we should enact serious reforms that "give the bankruptcy courts the tools they need to take care of failing giants."
  • In less than a year, the Pelosi-Reid Congress has introduced four nation-altering proposals: the $787 billion economic stimulus plan, the massive 2010 budget plan, cap-and-trade legislation, and health care reform. Heritage Vice President Michael Franc points out that "House Republicans have been virtually unanimous in their opposition to this agenda, but House Democrats have been divided in important ways." The Left has kept this ambitious schedule despite the split between moderate liberals and radical progressives, Franc argues, because of "the San Francisco speaker's ability to persuade her troops to line up behind a breathtakingly liberal legislative agenda."

Is Obama Poised to Cede US Sovereignty?

On October 14, Lord Christopher Monckton gave a presentation in St. Paul, MN on the subject of global warming. In this 4-minute excerpt from his speech, he issues a dire warning to all Americans regarding the United Nations Climate Change Treaty that is scheduled to be signed in Copenhagen in December 2009.

HOW MANY FRENCH, DUTCH, ITALIANS, BELGIANS AND BRITS ARE BURIED ON OUR SOIL, DEFENDING US AGAINST OUR ENEMIES?
WE DON'T ASK FOR PRAISE ... BUT WE HAVE ABSOULUTELY NO NEED TO APOLOGIZE!!

PLEASE---- DO  NOT  DELETE,  DO THINK ABOUT THIS.    THANK YOU.
I hope you remember this when election time comes around again.

The Blinders - Jihad at Ft Hood

Old stream media has PC blinders on. Read the "Jihad at Fort Hood" series for non-Politically Correct insights into the background on the murder of "14" and wounding of 30 American military and civilians at Ft Hood, Texas.
