For Ron Paul supporters, this is an especially good read. It suggests strongly that RP was consistent in his political appraches
but was willing to accept monies and support from racists or wrong headed libertarians without correcting the newsletters
that were published in his name. RP has said repeatedly that he did not read them. Either he was lying then or he is lying now
as he endorsed those letters as being his views. If they weren't and he never read them then he is a fool unworthy of support
by conservatives today. If he did read them and they did reflect his ideology then he accepted both racist and communistic ideas
not reflective of the classical libitarianism he claims. The contradictions are very troubling for Conservatives in general.
RP's foreign policy ideas are even more troubling as they reflect a willful ignorance of reality only equaled by the Dems/socialists.
Take the time to read this and look at some of those old newsletters. Comments and discussions are welcome as this election
cycle is so very important to the future of our nation. If RP runs as a third party, he will lose and he knows it which is why he's
stayed with the GOP despite the differences. An RP third would also ensure the return of the despicable Obama, surely worth
seriously abandoning RP even if the GOP winner is not totally compatible with Conservatism, something which grates on my
conscience and puts a terrible taste in my mouth similar to throwing up. The more I look at RP, the more I find him incompatible
with electability and my own desires. It is truly unfortunate that there is no real, actual, capable conservative running in 2012.
