I am promoting the Constitution Party (http://www.constitutionparty.com/) because the GOP is no longer the Christian Conservative party that it once was and has become infested with more than its share of Socialist Progressives. As a political choice for control of the US Congress, the GOP is certainly better than the Democrat party as the Dems have become the American Socialist Party and have disgraced their heritage. If the GOP were to actually vet its candidates and refuse to accept Progressive Socialists within its ranks, I and any number of Americans would return to the fold but, as is evidenced by the Tea Party activists, the GOP has lost the confidence of conservatives everywhere.
The Seven Principles of the Constitution Party are:
1.Life: For all human beings, from conception to natural death;
2.Liberty: Freedom of conscience and actions for the self-governed individual;
3.Family: One husband and one wife with their children as divinely instituted;
4.Property: Each individual's right to own and steward personal property without government burden;
5.Constitution: and Bill of Rights interpreted according to the actual intent of the Founding Fathers;
6.States' Rights: Everything not specifically delegated by the Constitution to the federal government, nor prohibited by the Constitution to the states, is reserved to the states or to the people;
7.American Sovereignty: American government committed to the protection of the borders, trade, and common defense of Americans, and not entangled in foreign alliances.
In my current home state of MO, our party may be found at http://www.constitutionpartymo.org. The Cons are expanding all over the nation and running winning candidates in many races. Look them up for yourself and see if they aren't the better fitting choice.
