Romney Advocates Enacting Obamacare State-by-State
February 1st, 2011 . by TexasFred Romney Advocates Enacting Obamacare State-by-StateTake a quick peek and see if this one makes sense to you:
Mitt: Keep Romneycare, Repeal Obamacare
Read that brief article and tell me if I'm wrong, but what I think Mitt's saying, preposterously, is that Obamacare would be a noble achievement if enacted nationwide on a state-by-state basis.
In fact– that. is. what. exactly. what. he. is. saying.
Orange County donors: don't get on this pony– it's not well.
And yes, I'm going to keep relentlessly beating the Romney drum…
Just watch this mess:
You saw that right: the federal government cannot force citizens to buy healthcare insurance, but states CAN. This according to Mitt Romney.A few years ago I participated in a discussion forum that was dominated by a disgusting, self-proclaimed Conservative that also believed himself to be the most astute authority to ever make a post concerning American politics. His screen name was Weasel Teeth. His name was Robert Proctor, and the useless little rodent lives in Michigan.
Seriously, folks: you cannot call yourself a Republican in 2011 and even remotely consider voting for this guy. To do so would require a complete and total abandonment of any and all conservative political principles.
Many here in this crucial GOP county still intend to back him again, though, from what I've seen.
Amazing. SOURCE
He was a HUGE fan of Mitt Romney, and was, of course, not nearly as astute as he claimed or believed himself to be. I hope the tags are picked up and he sees this post.
I think everyone in the United States that has more than 2 brain cells has figured it out, Mitt Romney, and his RomneyCare Plan that was foisted off on Massachusetts, was the precursor to the debacle that has become ObamaCare.
Q: When it comes to a government overhaul of health care, what is the difference between President Obama and Mitt Romney? So, with RomneyCare and ObamaCare looking more like evil twins than good health care, with Mitt Romney having been outed for the slick RINO that he truly is, after all of that, does Mitt Romney STILL look like presidential material to you Weasel Teeth?
A: Obama was against an individual insurance mandate before he was for it. Romney was for the mandate before he was against it.
Actually, that's not quite accurate. The real difference is that Obama acknowledges reversing his position, while Romney seems to be trying to have it both ways. SOURCE
Mitt Romney Not Sorry for 'Romneycare,' but Will It Kill a White House Bid?I can't speak for the flea bitten rodent, Weasel Teeth, but speaking for me, as a REAL, Conservative, and not some guy that has delusions of grandeur, I have to say, Romney should not be considered for the office of POTUS.
Today, likely GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney defended the universal health care law he implemented as governor of Massachusetts, saying there's a clear difference between his plan and President Barack Obama's reform effort.
Romney has been in the hot seat during the health care debate because key elements of his plan are reflected in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. "Romneycare" includes an individual coverage mandate, for example, the provision that prompted Judge Roger Vinson to declare Obama's plan unconstitutional.
According to Romney, "states have rights that the federal government doesn't have," so Obama should "press the pause button" on health care reform. In other words, it's acceptable for a state to impose a coverage mandate on citizens — but it's not acceptable for the federal government to do so. SOURCE
Why swap a Socialist, America hating Muslim for a Socialist Mormon RINO?
