I favor Rick Santorum as he is the single most conservative and consistent candidate.
None are perfect but Gingrich and Romney are neither as conservative as they claim
and Ron Paul is either insane or an idiot despite some of his better ideas.

Subject: Dick Morris: Ron Paul 'Terrifying', Romney's 'Apostasies'
------
"Ron Paul remains terrifying. He is really the ultimate liberal in the race.
He wants to legalize drugs, repeal the Patriot Act, slash our military
spending, pull out of Afghanistan... On these issues, he's way, way to the
left of Obama. What makes him a conservative is hard to tell. But, whatever
he is, he would be a disaster as the Republican candidate. His bland
assertion in the last debate, that 'anyone' will beat Obama is both
self-serving and inaccurate. He wouldn't. Anyone who votes for Paul and is
not brought up short by his denuding us in our defenses against terrorism and
his passivity in the face of Iranian nuclear weapons, has to realize that
nominating him is tantamount to re-electing Obama."

Morris notes that while Newt Gingrich leads as the favorite candidate among
Tea Party Patriots polled, a splintering effect among more conservative
candidates continues to help Romney.

The latest conservative-leaning candidate to see a surge is Rick Santorum,
Morris says.

But Morris predicts that support for Romney will wane as a "buyer's remorse
may set in," especially as Republican primary voters realize they are backing
the candidate who instituted Romneycare, a program similar to President
Obama's healthcare plan.

As conservatives realize a vote for any conservative other than Gingrich is a
vote for Romney, Morris predicts a Gingrich come back.

Nevada Brit
Subject: McCarthy Was Right! Venona Files prove it.
------
Historians deny the past but the Venona files (discovered after the cold war)
prove that McCarthy was mostly right.

The left conveniently ignores the evidence and fails utterly to address the
even more serious issue of Soviet penetration of American institutions—and
the influence that the Soviets were able to exert over those institutions.
For example, the presence of Alger Hiss at Roosevelt’s elbow at the Yalta
conference where a dying FDR acceded to the surrender of Eastern Europe to
Joseph Stalin. Hiss’s influence at Yalta was far deadlier than the secrets
he fed to his GRU (Soviet Military Intelligence) handlers. And that was just
one instance of the influence; he and other secret Soviet agents were able to
exert over U.S. Policy.

Joe McCarthy, like all of us, was a flawed human being, as the late Bill
Buckley noted, ceding the fact that on many occasions Joe simply was out of
line. But the thrust of his campaign against Soviet stooges among us was
right on target most of the time.

The Ows and the Tea Party

You can always count on the progressive left (yes, I know I am repeating myself) to get it wrong. Lately, there has been a rush to explain how, really, the Tea Party and the unwashed Occupy Wall Street hippies have a

lot in common. Really! I am not kidding. Of course, they have about as much in common with normal people or the Tea Party as sanity has in common with Jared Lee Loughner, nothing.

So far, OWSers have 80 arrests in Manhattan, 175 arrests in Chicago, two-dozen arrests in Denver, arrests in Phoenix, and more likely ahead. Name an arrest for any Tea Party group, anywhere. Anyone? Occupy Wall Street is

made up of a bunch of European-style socialists in the purest sense. They aren't talking about elections or correcting policy as were the Tea Partiers. They aren't interested in getting someone elected who will do the right thing.

Their stock-in trade is alienation, class warfare, and increased welfare (particularly for themselves). They are talking revolution; extra-legal punishment; confiscation of property; the recognition of rocks and trees as people.

None of that will stop Occupy Wall Street, however, from being the first protest group in the history of counter-culture that is protesting nothing. They have no demands, no leaders, no raison d'ĂȘtre. They only know they are angry,

alienated and approved by the Democrat wing of the Socialists Parties.

Taking a look at them, I suppose that anger comes kind of naturally for them. They are the one-percent, the permanent underclass; the pierced of body, mind, and heart. "No profits, no money, no banks, no jobs, no power,

Nothing," could be the official slogan of the movement. See? Nihilists. Still, if they had their way, there would be guillotines set up in the public square.

Said one OWS speaker and would-be Robespierre in Los Angeles, "Gandhi today is a tumor that the ruling class is using constantly to mislead us. French Revolution made fundamental transformation. But it was bloody. India,

the result of Gandhi, is 600 million people living in maximum poverty. So, ultimately, the bourgeoisie won't go without violent means. Revolution! Yes, revolution that is led by the working class." If he were literate, he could pick up a book.

Ghandi's non-violent revolution led to a brutal civil war and over a million people killed. Non-violence has nothing to do with poverty in India nor elsewhere today. About that whole enlightened French Revolution; that led to Napoleon's

attempt at world domination as the first anti-Christ, truly transformative. France has never recovered.

One locally grown tumor, Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. of Chicago counseled OWSers to remain non-violent at the same time he was telling Obama that he ought to suspend the constitution because Congress rejected the president's jobs bill.

He called the Democratically-controlled Senate vote killing Obama's jobs bill a "rebellion." Sort of a unique label for a congressman to use when his fellows are exercising normal congressional and constitutional authority.

"On several occasions now, we've seen … the Congress is in rebellion, determined, as Abraham Lincoln said, to wreck or ruin at all costs…. We've got to go further. I support what [Obama] does," Jackson told the Daily Caller.

"And if there are extra-constitutional opportunities that allow the president administratively to put the people to work, he should pursue every single one of them." This is the problem with Jesse's and Pierre's theory of extra-constitutional

government: Once it gets going, no one will have the ability or authority to put a stop to it.

Gandhi was killed by a bullet; Leon Trotsky got an ice pick to the skull in Mexico City after winning the civil war for the Reds in Bolshevik Russia; Hitler's bully, Ernst Rohm, was peppered with bullets inside his cell by his Nazi friends until dead.

"All revolutions devour their own children," said Rohm before he died.

And, as for the French and the modern OWS Robespierre, one day the guillotine will toll for thee as well as me. Of course, when that day comes, I'm a lot more heavily armed and a good deal better informed, as are most Americans.

Seductive Beliefs

Thomas Sowell

Seductive Beliefs

One of the painfully revealing episodes in Barack Obama's book "Dreams From My Father" describes his early experience listening to a sermon by the Reverend Jeremiah Wright. Among the things said in that sermon was that "white folks' greed runs a world in need." Obama was literally moved to tears by that sermon.

This sermon may have been like a revelation to Barack Obama but its explanation of economic and other differences was among the oldest-- and most factually discredited-- explanations of such difference among all sorts of peoples in all sorts of places. Yet it is an explanation that has long been politically seductive, in countries around the world.

What could be more emotionally satisfying than seeing others who have done better in the world as the villains responsible for your not having done as well? It is the ideal political explanation, from the standpoint of mass appeal, whether or not it makes any sense otherwise.

That has been the politically preferred explanation for economic differences between the Malay majority and the more prosperous Chinese minority in Malaysia, or between the Gentile majority and the Jewish minority in various countries in Europe between the two World Wars.

At various other times and places, it has been the preferred explanation for the economic differences between the Sinhalese and the Tamil minority in Sri Lanka, the Africans and the Lebanese in Sierra Leone, the Czechs and the Germans in Bohemia and numerous other groups in countries around the world.

The idea that the rich have gotten rich by making the poor poor has been an ideological theme that has played well in Third World countries, to explain why they lag so far behind the West.

None of this was original with Jeremiah Wright. All he added was his own colorful gutter style of expressing it, which so captivated the man who is now President of the United States.

There is obviously something there with very deep emotional appeal. Moreover, because nothing is easier to find than sins among human beings, there will never be a lack of evil deeds to make that explanation seem plausible.

Because the Western culture has been ascendant in the world in recent centuries, the image of rich white people and poor non-white people has made a deep impression, whether in theories of racial superiority-- which were big among "progressives" in the early 20th century-- or in theories of exploitation among "progressives" later on.

In a wider view of history, however, it becomes clear that, for centuries before the European ascendancy, Europe lagged far behind China in many achievements. Since neither of them changed much genetically between those times and the later rise of Europe, it is hard to reconcile this role reversal with racial theories.

More important, the Chinese were not to blame for Europe's problems-- which would not be solved until the Europeans themselves finally got their own act together, instead of blaming others. If they had listened to people like Jeremiah Wright, Europe might still be in the Dark Ages.

It is hard to reconcile "exploitation" theories with the facts. While there have been conquered peoples made poorer by their conquerors, especially by Spanish conquerors in the Western Hemisphere, in general most poor countries were poor for reasons that existed before the conquerors arrived. Some Third World countries are poorer today than they were when they were ruled by Western countries, generations ago.

False theories are not just an intellectual problem to be discussed around a seminar table in some ivy-covered building. When millions of people believe those theories, including people in high places, with the fate of nations in their hands, that is a serious and potentially disastrous fact of life.

Despite a carefully choreographed image of affability and cool, Barack Obama's decisions and appointments as President betray an alienation from the values and the people of this country that are too disturbing to be answered by showing his birth certificate.

Too many of his appointees exhibit a similar alienation, including Attorney General Eric Holder, under whom the Dept. of Justice could more accurately be described as the Dept. of Payback.

Herein Dr. Sowell  explains in very simple terms the greatest reasons why the Dem/Progressive/Socialist/Islamist movement can never be trusted. They are simply incapable of living in reality. Like children whose minds have never been trained, they believe in a fantasy of their own making and are either too lazy, too stupid, or too immature to accept responsibility for their own shortcomings and/or lack of individual effort. It is easy to blame others for your own poor quality of life, a lot easier than to actually do something about it yourself, particularly when you have been taught you cannot excel or succeed without someone else help that they are refusing you. The US has had singular success over the past centuries because there were so many individuals willing to take individual responsibility for their own efforts at success but today our schools teach only government can give those opportunities and if your efforts lack success then you cannot be help responsible for your own actions. Within the Dem Party, one of their trademark abilities is to stick together when being lying ore being proponents of a lie, probably because they are incapable of recognizing truth and their entire philosophy has come to base itself on untruth, socialism and the absurd idea that man is so perfectible that only governments run by men dedicated to socialism can succeed or are worthy of adherence by the public and the party.

BO may be a very intelligent man but his policies are none-the-less stupid as they simply do not equate to reality. He says he loves the US but treats it as though he hates it. He has been the recipient of its largesse but acts as though he'd been purposefully help down by some unholy system (or the Jews in his friends eyes). He has appointed socialists after socialist and even known communists and Islamists to public office and yet neither party finds any of that remarkable and the Conservative group (supposedly the GOP) cannot even find room to complain or to fight back against his gangster style tactics. The very lack of GOP effort has brought forth the Tea Party movement that now threatens to ruin the GOP. Several other Political Parties have sprung up to take up the slack of opposition to the Dems that the GOP has failed to support. Now the Constitution Party is growing faster than any other party in the US because it is in open Christian Conservative opposition to the Dems and the BO regime.

It seems apparent that no effort nor comments to the GOP is going to awaken that party leadership and that may well bode ill for the US as a large percentage of voters will be leaving GOP ranks to vote as independents or as Constitutionalists leaving  insufficient majority to wrest the Presidency from this purely evil man and the Dems.

One Black Man's Point Of View

A Black Man's Point Of View

No white man could ever write an article like this and live to tell about it.

A Black Man, The Progressive's Perfect Trojan Horse
By Lloyd Marcus
cid:7E1E7E8D2B4D46049A51393C5DF98D1F@dcw457c446dc85
As millions of my fellow Americans, I am outraged, devastated and extremely angry by the democrat's unbelievable arrogance and disdain for We The People.  Despite our screaming "no" from the rooftops, they forced ObamaCare down our throats.  Please forgive me for using the following crude saying, but it is very appropriate to describe what has happened.  "Don't urinate on me and tell me it's raining."  Democrats say their mission is to give all Americans health care.  The democrats are lying.  Signing ObamaCare into law against our will and the Constitution is tyranny and step one of their hideous goal of having as many Americans as possible dependent on government, thus controlling our lives and fulfilling Obama's promise to fundamentally transform America…
I keep asking myself.  How did our government move so far from the normal procedures of getting things done?  Could a white president have so successfully pulled off shredding the Constitution to further his agenda?  I think not.
Ironically, proving America is completely the opposite of the evil racist country they relentlessly accuse her of being, progressives used America's goodness, guilt and sense of fair play against her… in their quest to destroy America as we know it, progressives borrowed a brilliant scheme from Greek mythology.  They offered America a modern day Trojan Horse, a beautifully crafted golden shiny new black man as a presidential candidate.  Democrat Joe Biden lauded Obama as the first clean and articulate African American candidate.  Democrat Harry Reid said Obama only uses a black dialect when he wants.
White America relished the opportunity to vote for a black man naively believing they would never suffer the pain of being called racist again.  Black Americans viewed casting their vote for Obama as the ultimate Affirmative Action for America's sins of the past.
Then there were the entitlement loser voters who said, "I'm votin' for the black dude who promises to take from those rich SOBs and give to me."

Just as the deceived Trojans dragged the beautifully crafted Trojan Horse into Troy as a symbol of their victory, deceived Americans embraced the progressive's young, handsome, articulate and so called moderate black presidential candidate as a symbol of their liberation from accusation of being a racist nation.  Also like the Trojan Horse, Obama was filled with the enemy hiding inside.
Sunday, March 21, 2010, a secret door opened in Obama, the shiny golden black man.  A raging army of democrats charged out.  Without mercy, they began their vicious bloody slaughter of every value, freedom and institution we Americans hold dear; launching the end of America as we know it.
Wielding swords of votes reeking with the putrid odor of back door deals, the democrats landed a severe death blow to America and individual rights by passing ObamaCare.
The mainstream liberal media has been relentlessly badgering the Tea Party movement with accusations of racism.  Because I am a black tea party patriot, I am bombarded with interviewers asking me the same veiled question.  "Why are you siding with these white racists against America's first African American president?"  I defend my fellow patriots who are white stating, "These patriots do not give a hoot about Obama's skin color.  They simply love their country and oppose his radical agenda.  Obama's race is not an issue."

Recently, I have come to believe that perhaps I am wrong about Obama's race not being an issue.  In reality, Obama's presidency has everything to do with racism, but not from the Tea Party movement.  Progressives and Obama have exploited his race from the rookie senator's virtually unchallenged presidential campaign to his unprecedented bullying of America into ObamaCare.  Obama's race trumped all normal media scrutiny of him as a presidential candidate and most recently even the Constitution of the United States… ObamaCare forces all Americans to purchase health care which is clearly unconstitutional.
No white president could get away with boldly and arrogantly thwarting the will of the American people and ignoring laws.  President Clinton tried universal health care.  Bush tried social security reform.  The American people said "no" to both president's proposals and it was the end of it.  So how can Obama get away with giving the American people the finger?  The answer.  He is black.
The mainstream liberal media continues to portray all who oppose Obama in any way as racist.  Despite a list of failed policies, overreaches into the private sector, violations of the Constitution and planned destructive legislation too numerous to mention in this article, many Americans are still fearful of criticizing our first black president.  Incredible.
My fellow Americans, you must not continue to allow yourselves to be "played" and intimidated by Obama's race or the historical context of his presidency.  If we are to save America, the greatest nation on the planet, Obama's progressive agenda must be stopped.

I agree entirely here with Texas Fred. Romney isn't just misguided. He IS a RINO Progressive hiding behind the GOP label.

Romney Advocates Enacting Obamacare State-by-State

February 1st, 2011 . by TexasFred Romney Advocates Enacting Obamacare State-by-State
Take a quick peek and see if this one makes sense to you:
Mitt: Keep Romneycare, Repeal Obamacare
Read that brief article and tell me if I'm wrong, but what I think Mitt's saying, preposterously, is that Obamacare would be a noble achievement if enacted nationwide on a state-by-state basis.
In fact– that. is. what. exactly. what. he. is. saying.
Orange County donors: don't get on this pony– it's not well.
And yes, I'm going to keep relentlessly beating the Romney drum…
Just watch this mess:

You saw that right: the federal government cannot force citizens to buy healthcare insurance, but states CAN. This according to Mitt Romney.
Seriously, folks: you cannot call yourself a Republican in 2011 and even remotely consider voting for this guy. To do so would require a complete and total abandonment of any and all conservative political principles.
Many here in this crucial GOP county still intend to back him again, though, from what I've seen.
Amazing. SOURCE
A few years ago I participated in a discussion forum that was dominated by a disgusting, self-proclaimed Conservative that also believed himself to be the most astute authority to ever make a post concerning American politics. His screen name was Weasel Teeth. His name was Robert Proctor, and the useless little rodent lives in Michigan.
He was a HUGE fan of Mitt Romney, and was, of course, not nearly as astute as he claimed or believed himself to be. I hope the tags are picked up and he sees this post.
I think everyone in the United States that has more than 2 brain cells has figured it out, Mitt Romney, and his RomneyCare Plan that was foisted off on Massachusetts, was the precursor to the debacle that has become ObamaCare.
Q: When it comes to a government overhaul of health care, what is the difference between President Obama and Mitt Romney?
A: Obama was against an individual insurance mandate before he was for it. Romney was for the mandate before he was against it.
Actually, that's not quite accurate. The real difference is that Obama acknowledges reversing his position, while Romney seems to be trying to have it both ways. SOURCE
So, with RomneyCare and ObamaCare looking more like evil twins than good health care, with Mitt Romney having been outed for the slick RINO that he truly is, after all of that, does Mitt Romney STILL look like presidential material to you Weasel Teeth?
Mitt Romney Not Sorry for 'Romneycare,' but Will It Kill a White House Bid?
Today, likely GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney defended the universal health care law he implemented as governor of Massachusetts, saying there's a clear difference between his plan and President Barack Obama's reform effort.
Romney has been in the hot seat during the health care debate because key elements of his plan are reflected in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. "Romneycare" includes an individual coverage mandate, for example, the provision that prompted Judge Roger Vinson to declare Obama's plan unconstitutional.
According to Romney, "states have rights that the federal government doesn't have," so Obama should "press the pause button" on health care reform. In other words, it's acceptable for a state to impose a coverage mandate on citizens — but it's not acceptable for the federal government to do so. SOURCE
I can't speak for the flea bitten rodent, Weasel Teeth, but speaking for me, as a REAL, Conservative, and not some guy that has delusions of grandeur, I have to say, Romney should not be considered for the office of POTUS.
Why swap a Socialist, America hating Muslim for a Socialist Mormon RINO?

the depravity of the environmental movement

The Foundation

"[T]here is a degree of depravity in mankind which requires a certain degree of circumspection and distrust." --James Madison

Culture

The 10:10 campaign video
"Leading environmental organizations in Britain, with the backing of numerous major corporations, recruited British screenwriter Richard Curtis to produce a video for the '10:10' campaign, which seeks to cut carbon emissions by 10 percent every year for 10 years. The video begins in a classroom, where a mild-mannered teacher tells her middle-school students about the 10:10 effort. She then asks the class if they'd like to sign up. Most do, but two kids abstain. The teacher tells them, 'That's absolutely fine, your own choice.' Then, she reaches for a device on her desk with a red button on it. She pushes the button, and the kids who refused to sign up for the green crusade are blown up, their blood and viscera spraying across the classroom, staining the school uniforms of their conformist and compliant classmates. The same 'joke' plays out several more times in different settings (an office, soccer practice, etc.). Each time someone resists the idea of getting with the program, the response is swift, bloody execution. The video's defenders argue it's all a big joke, lighten up. For the layman, the obvious response is, 'That's not true.' Blowing up kids isn't funny. But that misses the point. This isn't a joke for the benefit of you and me. No, this is a knee-slapper for those already committed to the cause. The subtext is, 'Wouldn't it be awesome if we could just get rid of these tiresome, inconvenient people?' That's why they're blown up without anyone trying to change their minds. That's the joke: 'Enough with these idiots already.' How else to explain the fact that this thing went through the entire pre-production and filming process, was undoubtedly screened by any number of people, most likely including sponsors and PR people, and none of them said, 'Are you nuts? We can't go public with this.' That's the outrage here: not that they thought normal people would find it funny, but that the producers and sponsors clearly did think it was funny. ... In fairness, a host of leading environmentalists have condemned this snuff film as an idiotic disaster. I'm fine with taking most of them at their word, but I suspect that at least some object to the film because it was bad PR, not because they actually found it offensive." --columnist Jonah Goldberg

It isn't that all environmentalists are so absurdly malevolent but it should strike all who possess a conscience that this video and the mindset behind it that caused its production is illness personified. It is unfortunate but still true that the socialist progressive mindset has taken over the environmental movement spreading its illness to all too many within.

As GOP civil war rages

As I have previously tried to inform Mr. Blunt and other GOPers, Conservatism is selling and the GOP is not entirely conservative. The TEA PARTY and the factions that make up that loosely affiliated group are almost entirely conservative. To loose sight of reality because you believe you are the sole arbitor of right and wrong is a very typical affliction amongst our professional pols. See to it you are not amongst those unfortunates that refuse to read the writing on the wall because you are simply too smart to need to do so. The DNC will use any advantage at all to win any race because that is their normal modus operandi but the same tactics loses races for GOPers because their followers tend to be less ideological and more morally conservative driven.

As GOP civil war rages, Democrats look to benefit

WASHINGTON (AP) – A Republican civil war is raging, with righter-than-thou conservatives dominating ever more primaries in a fight for the party's soul. And the Democrats hope to benefit.
The latest examples of conservative insurgents' clout came Tuesday at opposite ends of the country. In Florida, political newcomer Rick Scott beat longtime congressman and state Attorney General Bill McCollum for the GOP gubernatorial nomination. And in Alaska, tea party activists and Sarah Palin pushed Sen. Lisa Murkowski to the brink of defeat, depending on absentee ballot counts in her race against outsider Joe Miller.
Full Story Here:
As GOP civil war rages, Democrats look to benefit
A fight is being waged within the Republican Party. It's a fight between REAL Republicans, the old fashioned Reagan Conservative Republicans, and the RINOs that have come to represent a party that is in severe need of a makeover.
The GOP has made it clear that they will blow smoke up the TEA Party's skirt, use them if they can, and once elections are over, they plan to try and co-opt the TEA Party into being a wing of the GOP.
It's just NOT going to happen that way folks.
There are multitudes of Conservatives out there in *I VOTE LAND* that are SO tired of the GOP, Michael Steele, the RNC, the RINOs, Graham, McCain, Murkowski, Snowe, Collins and so many others. I am happy to see that in many cases, REAL Republicans are replacing RINOs.

The GOP is likely to survive its bitter intraparty battles in such states as Alaska and Utah, even if voters oust veteran senators in both. But tea party-backed candidates might be a godsend to desperate Democrats elsewhere – in Nevada, Florida and perhaps Kentucky, where the Democrats portray GOP nominees as too extreme for their states.
Too extreme for America and their states? Or for the Dems and their game?
God, guns and guts is too extreme? Believing in God is too extreme? Standing up for the right to life of the unborn is too extreme? Wanting secure borders and wanting those in this nation that are not here legally removed? That's too extreme for the Dems?
Do Americans, especially the Blacks of this nation, which do, by and large, vote Democratic, need to be reminded that it was the Democrats that started the Klan? It was the Democrats that sought at every turn to deny the Black man the right to vote? To be counted as a WHOLE person? Do the Dems REALLY want to go there regarding extremes?

If Murkowski joins Sen. Bob Bennett, R-Utah, as a victim of party activists who demand ideological purity, other Republicans are still likely to win in November, though Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., would have to deal with more maverick members who are loathe to compromise. And the conservative insurgency is hardly all-powerful, as Sen. John McCain proved by easily winning renomination in Arizona despite a challenge from the right by J.D. Hayworth.
'As a victim of party activists who demand ideological purity' has a nice ring to it.
Compromise is OUT of the question! Compromise is what took America to the brink of disaster, the one that we are now facing in the person of Barack Hussein Obama.
Regarding Conservative insurgency and John McCain, all I can say to the GOP voters of Arizona is this; John McCain is nothing more than an ass-kissing RINO. He got all Conservative as soon as the election cycle started again, and you folks bought it. As soon as it's over, he'll go right back to being an ass-kissing RINO, writing bills with Feingold and the like, reaching across the aisle and siding with the Dems at every occasion.
Arizona, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

The White House has tried to link the Republican Party with the fledgling conservative-libertarian tea party coalition – and demonize the combination as too extreme for the country.
That's "the Republican tea party" that's "offering more of the past but on steroids" and is "out of step with where the American people are," Vice President Joe Biden told the party's rank and file last week.

Here we go with that too extreme stuff again. What, exactly, is too extreme?
An American president bowing to foreign dignitaries? Is that too extreme?
How about giving away TRILLIONS of our tax dollars for a bail out and stimulus that simply has not worked?
I know, this has to be the big extreme the Dems are talking about; that wonderful ObamaCare program? How about it Dems? You still want to talk about extreme?
I can't speak for ALL TEA Party groups in America, but if ANY of them have become a part of, or a servant to the GOP, they have co-opted themselves and are no longer a representative of what the TEA Party is all about. And yes, I DO know of some that have.

Nevada Republicans' nomination of tea party favorite Sharron Angle may save Sen. Harry Reid, the Democratic leader. His popularity has fallen sharply among state voters, but Democrats say Angle's comments are scaring voters away from her and back toward him.
I can't argue that, don't intend to try. You see, for some reason, Americans have become a lame, lazy, apathetic and complacent bunch. A real speaker of the truth scares many in this nation. The weak are going to follow the path of least resistance and align themselves with the one that tells them of all the free milk and honey they will provide, as long as you give the vote to them.
The truth isn't spoken. The fact that we have to work for a living, the fact that we can't be the savior to all the little creatures on the planet is NOT what the weak minded libbers or RINOs want to hear and it's not what Dems and RINOs are preaching!
The left and RINOs don't want the truth. They can't handle the truth.
Stand your ground TEA Party Patriots. Don't bow to the GOP or the Dems. Stand for what you know is right for America and stand for what's right in your heart!
Don't get weak now. We have a lot more fighting to do, and we're weeding out the weak sisters as fast as we can. We need men and women of courage, people that aren't afraid to stand and be confrontational. People that aren't afraid to get bloodied in the fight!
America 1st! Vote your conscience, not some PARTY line. Challenge everything!

The Threat at Home

by David Horowitz  in Townhall.com

My parents were members of the American Communist Party and I was part of the progressive left which was the communist left and which has grown ominously large toda1y, and has seen its candidate elected to the White House. I was the editor of the largest magazine of the new left, which was organized by the children of communists, so-called 'red diaper babies' like myself. We regarded America as the enemy. We began as an isolated political minority, but the hate America crowd has grown alarmingly in size since then. Today, nobody is embarrassed about slandering their own country even in time of war, and this includes our current President who recently apologized for the actions of his country to Latin American communists, Jew-haters and self-declared enemies, such as Venezuela's Chavez and Nicarauguan jefe Daniel Ortega, a degenerate who molested his own daughter.

In Obama's presence Ortega went into a rant against America claiming that our government conducted a "terrorist" war against Nicaragua in the 1980s, when in fact American pressure forced an end to the Sandinista dictatorship and the re-institution of a free press and open elections. What was President Obama's response to the Ortega attack?"Well, I was only six years old at the time." In other words, an apology for our "terrorist" acts against the Marxist dictatorship. This is disgraceful and also dangerous.

To answer your question as to how I arrived at the views I now hold, during the early 1979s I was working with the Black Panther Party whose leaders were the heroes of all progressives, who took them to be the victims of American oppression and police brutality. As I soon discovered, the Panthers were, in fact, criminals and murderers and not the victims the left claimed them to be. In 1974, they killed my friend Betty Van Patter, which brought all this home to me. The left protected the Panther murderers and made apologies for their other criminal deeds. Today, campus progressives invite the killers to their schools and give them ten-thousand-dollar speaking fees to denounce America as a "racist" country and criminal nation, which is what progressives want to hear.

The second principal cause of my change of heart was the Vietnam War. I was one of the leaders of the anti-war movement of the time. Of course, these anti-war movements of the left aren't really anti-war movements in any meaningful sense of the word. They are anti-American movements, designed to make America lose whatever war it is engaged in. If there had been a peace movement during the lead up to the war in Iraq, for example, there would have been at least one demonstration in front of the Iraq Embassy calling on Saddam Hussein to obey the U.N. resolutions and the arms control agreements he had signed. But there wasn't. Not one. The so-called anti-war activists were not demonstrating for peace. They were demonstrating against America and its efforts to hold Saddam to the UN peace agreements he had signed.

During the Vietnam years, the goal of the so-called anti-war movement was to cause America to lose the war-- and that includes every leader of the anti-Vietnam left -- John Kerry, Jane Fonda, Tom Hayden, and so on. The anti-Vietnam movement wanted America to lose because for the left, for progressives, we are the bad guys: America, the oppressor. America did lose the Vietnam as a result of our protests. The anti-American anti-war movement forced America to give up the fight for freedom in Vietnam, to retreat from the field of battle, to withdraw overnight. It was the same prescription that Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reed and the congressional Democrats wanted for Iraq. Fortunately they failed, and consequently Iraq is not ruled by terrorists today

But in Indo-China the ending was different. Once America quit the field of battle, the Communists proceeded to slaughter two-and a-half million poor Vietnamese and Cambodian peasants – one of the worst genocides in history. But there wasn't a single demonstration by progressives against this atrocity. Bloodbaths are okay if they are committed by progressives of color in the name of "social justice."

From communism to Islamo-fascism, the left in America – as elsewhere – has had a lifelong love affair with tyranny and terror, which is the title of an important book that my Frontpage editor Jamie Glazov has just published. It's called: United in Hate, the Left's Love Affair with Tyranny and Terror. That is who they are. Progressives are adept at speaking the language of peace and love and justice; but these words are just a smokescreen for their real agendas which are search and destroy. Anybody who has ever encountered a progressive up close in any kind of political disagreement knows that this is a hate movement. They hate conservatives; they hate Republicans; they hate white males, and increasingly they hate Christians and Jews. They hated George Bush.

How can you hate George Bush? He may have done a lot of things that you wouldn't have done; but how can you hate the man? But they do. They are haters. Their mouths drip with hate. You can't name a single conservative spokesman from Rush Limbaugh to Ann Coulter, to Sarah Palin to, well, George Bush, who hasn't been stigmatized, slandered, demonized, libeled, and trashed as indecent, beneath humanity, contemptible, toxic, and viral. And yet conservatives continue to call such haters … liberals!

It is conservatives who are actually liberal. We believe that there should be two sides to a question and that when people disagree with us they are often mistaken, and not necessarily evil. I have written a book with Jacob Laksin about universities called One Party Classroom. Among other things, the title highlights the fact that so-called liberals have purged American faculties of conservative voices. It has been the most successful witch-hunt in American history. Conservatives are as rare as unicorns on the faculties of American universities and there isn't a liberal in sight who has expressed concern about this deplorable fact or the mentality that makes it possible.

So-called "liberal" professors will assign books on one side of controversial issues – the leftwing side -- and then ram down students' throats the idea that America is a racist, sexist, homophobic, imperialist country, which therefore deserves to be attacked by freedom fighters who are mis-labeled "terrorists." If these terrorists happen to commit an unspeakable act every now then, it's only because they are forced to do it by Jews and crusaders who have left them no alternative. What despicable rot. People have been oppressed for thousands of years without resorting to the evil tactics of Islamic "martyrs." Until the Palestinians there has never been a people so in thrall to a death cult -- so culturally and morally sick -- as to murder their own children by strapping bombs to them and telling them to blow up other little children and, if they are lucky enough to be male, they will be rewarded by Allah with seventy-two virgins. How depraved is that? And yet there is not a single Muslim state that denounces the evil behavior of the Palestinians and their Hamas leaders, while the American left supports them.

The avatars of the next Holocaust – Ahmadinejad, Nasrallah and the terrorists of Hamas -- are far more open than the Nazis in their determination to kill the Jews. Hitler hid the final solution from the German people. He hid the fact that he wanted to exterminate the Jews because he believed the Germans were too civilized a people to support it. But the Iranians and Hamas and Hizbullah -- they shout it from the rooftops to the cheers of the Palestinians and the Muslim world and Daniel Ortega, and American leftists like Noam Chomsky and Ward Churchill and their academic "progressive" friends.

Conservatives need to understand this about progressives. They hate you; their malevolence will destroy you if you give them the chance. Look at the performance of the Democratic Party leadership during the Iraq War. America's armed forces were in the field facing enemy fire. The Democrats had authorized the war that sent them into harm's way. But the minute trouble started – three months after hostilities began -- the Democrats pulled out and went into full attack mode against their own country, against their elected commander-in-chief, accusing America of being the aggressor in the war, a criminal nation, an occupier, and torturer.

And how did they explain their about-face? What reason did they give for first authorizing the war and then conducting a propaganda campaign against it – for first supporting their country and then condemning it, for indicting their own country as an aggressor nation conducting an unnecessary war against a country that posed "no threat." (These were the precise terms that Al Gore used to attack his president and his country in his book The Assault on Reason, which was an apt description of the book itself.)

The Democratic leaders explained their betrayal of a war they had authorized by saying that they were lied to, that the President "manipulated the intelligence" to fool them into supporting the use of force against Saddam Hussein. But this was in itself the most obvious and biggest lie of the war. Democrats sit on all the intelligence committees and have access to every intelligence secret America possesses. How could Bush manipulate the intelligence data that John Kerry had on his desk? The answer is: he couldn't.

The Democrats needed this particular lie, however, because they could not admit the real reason for their betrayal. The real reason that Kerry and his colleagues changed their views on the war had nothing to do with the intelligence data or Iraq. It was because a candidate named Howard Dean, who was running on a platform opposing the war, was about to win the Democratic presidential primary as the war moved into its third month. That was the real and only reason why John Kerry turned against the war and for the second time in his wretched career stabbed America's fighting men and women in the field in the back. For five years while American troops were fighting the terrorists in Iraq, the Democratic leadership conducted a propaganda war against them, showing that they were perfectly willing to risk the lives and safety of our troops for political gains for their party. Shame on them.

You can't conduct a campaign saying that America is the aggressor in a war without encouraging the enemy and increasing his strength. You can't destroy national security programs by leaking them to the New York Times and defending the leaks, without endangering American lives. You can't conduct an open-ended campaign to define America as a criminal nation without sapping Americans' ability to defend themselves in a dangerous world with enemies who believe that murdering Americans is a fast-track to the kingdom of heaven. But that is what progressives and the Democratic leadership have done – and they are same individuals who are running our nation today.
